I will be starting an Electronic Medical Record in March 2006. Getting there has been an interesting journey. I am going to use this format to record what happens as we switch from paper to electronic.
Over the next few days, I will recap the history of this EMR so far, including how the decision was made, what the financial background is, and the major road blocks we have encountered.
